Description

We have confirmed with Sig that we can accept pre-orders on this scope, which means they should be available reasonably soon. As soon as you place your order, you will be put into the queue and be one of the first to receive one.

We are actually excited about this scope, and we’re not very excitable.

What the Original BDX Scopes Should Have Been
This scope is what the original BDX scopes should have been. The awesome BDX software combined with legit glass, a proper elevation knob, a zero-stop, and a real reticle.

Huge Benefit of the Head’s Up Display
Aside from the glass and the elevation knob, another major improvement over the original BDX is you no longer have to choose between zooming the scope and keeping the hold-over dot from dropping too low. That was a major issue with long range shots on the original BDX. Those of you who’ve used the original BDX scopes know what we’re talking about.

That problem is resolved now because rather than a hold-over dot, you now have a heads-up display that knows your elevation knob’s location in real-time, so you know exactly how many clicks you’ve dialed. And the BDX rangefinder will calculate and send the dope to the scope telling you how many clicks to dial. Super awesome tech.

At Sightlok, We’re Actual BDX Users
We’ve personally been using BDX scopes on some of our rifles pretty much since the technology was introduced. The only thing that would keep us from buying one of these scopes is we’d prefer to have a 1-6X LPVO version instead. We much prefer having 1X capability. Field-of-view is just so important for regular hunting situations. Starting at 3X is really borderline excessive unless you’re a long-range shooter exclusively. We write whole blog articles about how we think hunters would have better results if they switched to LPVO’s.

Hopefully Sig will release a BRAVO6T LPVO at some point. In the meantime, this is still an awesome option if you are okay starting at 3X magnification.

If you’re thinking about buying this scope, here’s 5 legit reasons to buy it from us:

1. You can pre-order and get it faster
2. We actually use BDX scopes on our own rifles and know the tech inside-out
3. We publish 100% honest and unbiased reviews of Sig optics
4. We offer timely, expert support to all our customers
5. Products come directly from Sig warehouses which eliminates the chance you’ll receive a counterfeit. (Online retailers like Amazon are struggling with fake brand name riflescopes and other optics).

Sig’s marketing speak for the scope is as follows:

Blends the functionality of a FFP scope with the capabilities of a ballistic computer.

SIG SAUER’s eTRAK elevation turret uses ZeroSync technology to monitor user input and manipulate the calculated shoot-to distance in the optic’s heads-up display. Rotate the elevation until the distance corresponds with the target distance and fire.

Powered by a 6x magnification optical system (by the way, we have no idea what this means), the BRAVO6T-BDX delivers a clear image using SIG’s HDX lenses for (allegedly) unrivaled performance.
