For the time being, this is the scope Sightlok recommends to pretty much everyone, but especially to big game hunters. If most of your shots are further than 600 yards, the Sig BRAVO6T-BDX-3-18X would be a better choice, but for everyone else, this is the scope to buy.

Why We Recommend This Scope
The EASY6-BDX 1-6x24mm is the only scope on the market which doesn’t destroy your field of view with excessive magnification AND has all the BDX smart scope features. Meaning it can take a range input from a Sig BDX rangefinder and instantly display your aiming point (hold-over dot in the digital reticle). We recommend this scope mainly because it has the widest field-of-view of any “smart scope” on the market.

Some Disadvantages to Consider
While we feel the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, this scope does have disadvantages.

For example, the glass in the EASY6 line of scopes is not the greatest. Optically, for example, if price is no object, you could do better with the $2000 Kahles Optics K16I 1-6×24, but then you give up all the electronic aids that come with the Sig BDX scopes.

Another disadvantage of the EASY6-BDX 1-6x24mm is that it’s not really an ideal platform to be on if your batteries all die and you’re in a SHTF situation. In that case, you’d want a scope with a zero-stop and a reticle that was more functional for hold-overs.

But for hunters today in the real world that want to put meat on the table, this is an incredible option. It’s really the best option available. Truth be told, we’re hoping someday Sig will decide to release a BRAVO6T-BDX-1-6X to address the shortcomings described above, but even if they do, it’s going to cost twice what this scope costs.
