Don’t Buy Garmin Xero X1i Before Reading This Review and List of Problems

Should you buy a Garmin Xero X1i? Absolutely not. The Garmin Xero X1i’s fixed 3.5X magnification is wrong for crossbows, its field-of-view is way too narrow, and it’s overpriced at $1,400. The Garmin Xero X1i also sits too high and won’t take standard scope rings.

Burris Oracle X Problems

Should you buy a Burris Oracle X? Probably not. 2X is the lowest magnification it offers, giving less than half the field-of-view of a 1X scope, the battery drains while the scope is switched off, the mount works loose and won’t hold zero, and you can’t range anything without pointing your crossbow at it.
